Easy to move romm to room and put away when not in use. We use it to assist our central A/C in the summer, when wife cooks (a lot) and as backup incase power goes out, we can hook it to portable generator. So far works great. Cools room quickly and is quiet. We have it in the room with TV and we do not have to turn volume up real loud. Does have the normal hum of any A/C. I will write back in a few months to update on performance and quality. We live in the south, so we run our A/C's in December.almost year later. It worked well till the AC part stopped working and it started pumping out HOT air, but come on! I JUST got the unit it seems like. Nothing better than cheap crap from China. Boo!I took extra precautions to be careful with the machine, but that wasn't enough. Update: I figured out that about 8 of the fan blades for the rear exhaust broke off inside the machine and got the fan stuck. No hot air exhaust equals no working AC. I wish it was built better for how much I paid for it. It worked well for the short time it actually worked, but I wouldn't recommend anyone buys this unit. |
